Pink month starts tomorrow!

October already, tomorrow. And that means we go Pink again. It’s time for the annual Breast Cancer Awareness month.

There’s a ton of things you can buy to contribute. Here’s a few.

This years Swedish Pink Ribbon is designed by Lena Philipsson and Per Holknekt. It can be purchased at, amongst others, Lindex, who also has this pretty bracelet. The ribbon cost SEK 25 and the bracelet SEK 75. I’m getting both!

The Swedish Crown Princess Victoria wore both the ribbon and bracelet yesterday, when she visited Radiumhemmet at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, to mark the start of “pink month”.

Cox & Cox Autumn

This leather chair and lambswool throw would be a dream to cuddle in when Autumn storms blow outside, and I tune into Grey’s Anatomy on Wednesday nights. The new season starts in a couple of weeks and when it does, one knows Summer is gone and Christmas is closing in. Nice.

IKEA High Prize (!)

IKEA releases a new, more expensive textile collection in October. The collection consists of pillows and rugs made from old Turkish wool carpets and some new fabrics.

It’s really beautiful, I think, but if I buy anything it will be the pillows – the rugs are to expensive for IKEA (up to €1000).

There’s a new Season

Mid September, soon enough Christmas is here, and in a month or so – if all goes as last year – the snow will start covering the ground. I don’t mind, really, snow is better than rain every time.

All is calming down here, the only thing that’s bothering me now is that my Sister’s cat, Milo, who’s staying with us for a while, is deeply hated by our three Cat girls. He’s asking for it, though; every time he get’s close to them, he literally jumps on them. They’re terrified of him. :/
